There are multiple ways you can get involved and connected at Saratoga! It can range from informal and casual conversation with other parents to being a part of an action driven group of parents and community members! See below for the different opportunities and important dates.
Community Cafes are a slightly more structured gathering. Cafes are a way to share your voice and connect with others. Cafes are discussion based and are centered around questions. Community Cafes are planned and hosted by Saratoga parents!
Community Cafes typically start out with a shared meal. Currently, due to covid restrictions, the meal is grab and go. Food will be served to go at the end of the Cafe. Childcare is provided during Cafes!
Community Cafes are scheduled throughout the year. For most up-to-date information check https://saratoga.lps.org/calendar/ or contact Angela.
The School and Neighborhood Advisory Committee, or SNAC, meets to discuss ideas to strengthen the school and neighborhood community. This group is for any Saratoga parent, neighborhood resident, or anyone who would like to be a part of the team! This group is action oriented and meets to work towards accomplishing the determined goals.
The current goal SNAC is meeting to address is traffic concerns and pedestrian safety in areas surrounding the school.
SNAC meetings on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7 PM, in the Saratoga Cafeteria.
If you are interested in attending a SNAC meeting check https://saratoga.lps.org/calendar/ for the next meeting. If you would like to be added to the mailing list contact Angela.
